Who We Are

Our mission is to raise awareness and ensure that every child impacted by abuse is heard, protected, and receives vital services for their continued safety and future wellbeing. Our vision is to be the leader in child abuse intervention, treatment, and prevention so that one day all children will grow up free from abuse. The Martin House CAC employs more than a dozen professionals who provide a wide array of healing support services for over 800 children annually from Gregg, Harrison, Marion, and Upshur Counties.

What We Do

The Martin House Children's Advocacy Center facilitates a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team response to the intervention, investigation, prosecution, and treatment of child abuse for Gregg, Harrison, Marion, and Upshur Counties. By partnering with law enforcement, Child Protective Services, prosecutors, and medical and mental health professionals, The Martin House CAC provides comprehensive support programs that promote healing and justice for child victims of sexual and physical abuse or witnesses to violent crimes.
