East Texas CASA

East Texas CASA is a non profit volunteer based organization that is appointed by a Judge to represent and advocate for the best interest of children who are removed from their families due to abuse and neglect and placed in the states custody. Getting Together Safely offers a safe supervised visitation program with a monitor twice a month to aide children in maintaining a connection with their non custodial parent.

East Texas CASA will recruit and train volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children and youth who are removed from their families due to abuse or neglect in Gregg, Rusk, and Upshur Counties. East Texas CASA also offers a program called Getting Together Safely. Getting Together Safely offers supervised visitiation that is court ordered in a safe, child friendly, family setting for children to be able to visit their non custodial parent.
