Volunteers are vital to The Martin House Children’s Advocacy Center. All of the services provided by The Martin House CAC are free of charge, and we appreciate our volunteers.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Assisting staff with advocacy.Clerical duties*yearly fundraisers*  Bags, boots & Bingo 2026 April 7 


Volunteer Requirements:

Minimum age to volunteer is 18 years old Complete a volunteer application Pass a thorough criminal background check Interview with management Participate in comprehensive training Be available during business hours, Monday- Friday 8:00-6:00, or weekend/evening events

Volunteer: Snacks & Drinks

Children and families who visit our center are offered a snack and a drink. They may have missed lunch or are coming immediately after school, and we want to make them as comfortable as possible.

Suggested items include individually wrapped snacks such as chips, cookies, crackers, and fruit snacks. Soft drinks, juice boxes, and YooHoo are some favorites.

Children and teens who come through our center for services are offered a "comfort item" after completing a forensic interview, medical exam, or therapy session. These items can include new stuffed animals, toy cars, nail polish, journals, coloring books, and gift cards to a favorite coffee shop or restaurant. Items for teens are always a need.
