Who We Are
The City of Longview's Connect Longview program seeks to improve neighborhoods by matching local volunteers with homeowners who need assistance. Volunteers help homeowners who have property issues but are unable to correct them due to physical or financial hardship.
What We Do
About Our Projects
Connect Longview projects typically include one or a combination of the following:
- Yard work such as mowing, weed eating, trimming overgrown vegetation, cleaning gutters
- Picking up junk and litter and placing it at the curb for bulky pickup.
- General landscaping help and cleaning up flower beds.
Volunteers must provide their own yard tools, such as mowers and weed-eaters. Connect Longview does have a small supply of rakes, loppers and other small hand tools.
